How radon testing works

How the mitigation system works

When a Lenexa home tests high, I install an active sub-slab depressurization system. That means coring through the basement floor, sealing a PVC pipe into the slab, and running it up through an inline fan that pulls the soil gas out from under the foundation and vents it above the roofline. On the larger west-side footprints I plan the routing so the pipe stays tidy and out of the way, and I retest afterward to confirm the number dropped below the EPA limit.
